I am looking to buy a house, and I was wondering If there is a place online where I can look at the houses for sale ( Preferably big beautiful homes, not mansions but still rich-ish homes ) with pictures AND video walk through sort of things?

  1. Try www.realtor.com, but you won't get the addresses with this you'll need to contact the listing realtor (or any realtor really) to view anything you find - may as well just contact a realtor first.

  2. what area do you want the house?

  3. I like http://www.trulia.com.  It has good information such as previous home sale value, good comprables, median house price in area, etc.

The listing agent on each house for sale is responsbile for doing the pictures and video walk-through.  Sometimes you'll find great pictures + video and everything, and sometimes they'll just have one picture up.  The search engine you use for houses has nothing to do with how the listing agent chooses to advertise the house

  4. One of the best Real Estate related websites is http://www.ired.com

They are like the yahoo search type portals of Real Estate and have everything I think you light be looking for. Access to tons of websites.

  5. Sure. That's easy.

Just search online. Let's say you live in Fairfax, Virginia. Search: "Real estate for sale Fairfax Virginia." Or "Realtor Fairfax Virginia." That'll bring up plenty of listings for Realtors in Fairfax, Virginia.

Go to any of their websites. Almost all will have some sort of search function, letting you narrow down your search by zip code, price, number of bedrooms, baths, etc. Some are better than others. (I'm not with Zip Realty, but Zip Realty has a really nifty site for searching.)

Then it's up to the listing agent as to whether there are multiple pictures posted, and even if there's a virtual tour posted. Again, that's up to the listing agent, not to the web site you use.

You may have to register at some of the sites. Registration is free; don't use any site for property searches that you have to pay for.

And then select a Realtor to use. You need your own, not the listing agent--the agent representing the seller. Again, it won't cost you anything; the commission is paid by the seller, not by you.

    Hope that helps.
