Is there a way for a college freshmen to catch up, for lacking credit and still catch up with their class?

lacking credit, due to lack of info from advisor, and im like what to do HELP!!!, lost me scholarship and is wondering if im a freshman next year or sophmore?

  1. You can usually take up to 21 credit hours a semester without special permission.  For some reason folks think they can/should only enroll in 12 credit hours a semester.  If you do this you'll never graduate in 4 years.  You have to usually take 15 hours MINIMUM a semester to graduate on time, and most schools now have enough hours required you have to go during the summers as well. I always took classes in the summer as well as 15 a semester and I graduated in 4 years.


  2. u can take summer classes (or winter classes) at community colleges (cheaper) but make sure the class credits are transferable to your college. You would be going as a non-degree student (not sure what the technical term is)

    or what you can do is add an extra class per semester to catch up, like if 15 is the # of credit you need, take an extra class and take 17-18 credits...
