I brought a book for beginers also I joined an evening class at local college very cheap free if you have benefits and the main way was using it a lot and learning myself.

Yes, there's a book called Learn Word and it has a CD attached that runs you through the training.

I think you can also download some of these things from Microsoft.

Learn Direct you can find out at your local library, they do either courses on site or from home & start with the very basics,

you can continue to become quite advanced

most courses are free
