  1. You can shrink it, try EASEUS Partition Manager Server Edition 1.6.4  from Tucows. Open the program, choose a partition, and literally drag it wider or shorter, then drag another partition vice versa.

  2. Download the gparted iso (only 95mb) from http://gparted.sourceforge.net/download.... and burn it to a CD.

Enter into your BIOS and make sure that it is set to boot from CD.

When you reboot it will load a basic Linux desktop. On that desktop there icon for an application called Gparted. This is an open source application similar to the Partition Magic. You should then be able to easily resize your Linux partition using the drag and drop interface

  3. You cant partition a partition reinstall your OS

  4. I think you can resize your linux partitiion just like you resize your windows partition to make space for the linux partition, using something like gparted.

I'm pretty sure it wont work if you try to run gparted from your linux partition, but I think it would probably work if you run gparted form a live linux cd, (like ubuntu or knoppix).

  5. Boot from the Linux disc and there should be an option to reformat. You honestly want to back up all your data first, though!
