  1. No. There is no way of knowing.

  2. It depends. If it was a natural miscarriage (no D&C) no. If you had a D&C sometimes the doctor can tell by looking at the cervix or the uterine wall.

  3. No, I miscarried twins a couple years ago and my doctors never knew until I told them..

  4. They have their ways of making you talk.... it is important that you let your doctor know that you have miscarried because it can effect your chances of completing a pregnancy.

  5. I dont think so but they ask you at your first prenatal visit, and its important to be honest with the doctors about everything, incase you have any complications

  6. No, I don't think so.

  7. the doctor is one person you shouldnt keep things like that from. he's a doctor. theres no shame in telling him. and yes. he should be able to tell but only if he does a test.

  8. Yes they can

  9. He might be able to make a good guess if testing reveals any damage or scarring, but he most likely can't prove a thing because that can happen in other ways.

  10. If it was an early term, natural miscarriage (no induced abortion) and there were no complications afterwards like infections or the need for a D&C then the short answer is no.  He or she will not be able to tell.

But for your sake and the sake of your baby it is always better to be honest with your doctor or midwife about these things - believe me, we have seen and heard it all and if they are a true professional, no judgement will be involved.

It just makes good sense to be completely honest with your caregivers while pregnant.

  11. the doctor will look inside the v****a (pap-smear) and how the end of the tube appears will designate if you have had a miscarriage.

  12. No. The only way a doc can tell is if there is something left behind inside. You should tell him though, cause if you have had one, the risk of you having another one goes up! There is nothing wrong with telling them either-they have to go with privacy laws anyways!

  13. if you tell the doctor or if the doctor has a degree

  14. well it all depends, your child's DNA stays in your uterus for like 15-20 years. But the doctor would have to be looking for precisely a miscarriage. And if the placenta was attached then there would have to be scaring.so I they wanted to find out yes they would be able to tell.
