The only information I can find is flights and they're very expensive considering how close they are to each other.. Are there any kind of boats that go from one country to the other? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  2. Yes, there is an overnight ferry you can get from Hakata (port of Fukuoka city) to Busan in South Korea which is a port city on the south coast peninsula. If you want to get to Seoul from Busan there is a bus and I think it takes about 5 or 6 hours. Not sure of the exact price but WAY cheaper than flying.

    * well cheers for the thumbs down! Was only giving you the info you requested!

  3. First, I think Schneide's answer is best. I lived in Fukuoka for 7 years and now live in South Korea. The overnight ferry is the cheapest. You can get the faster Beetle ferry for just Y16000 RT (2hrs 55min) if you depart on the 1st or 3rd Friday of the month. Other than the boats, I usually go with IACE Travel for flights. Saw one flight from Tokyo to Seoul for Y27,000. Good luck.

  4. There are famous travel agent named "H.I.S." in Japan.

You can find air flight only 9800 Yen from Narita to Souel.

    Have a nice trip !!

  5. Hiking!  been there and done it.
