Is there a way of resetting my camera?

My fuji finepix j10 was in my pocket while i was out at the bars the other night and it now looks like its stuck halfway on. the lens is partially out and open, full battery and there is external physical damage. Any suggestions? I could take it to the shop, but id rather not spend the money on getting it fixed.

Check whether the camera is still covered under warranty. Even if you take it to the nearest service center this might not cost you a fortune.

Remove the battery and pop a fresh one in and see if that helps.  Often it just takes a quick and easy fix.

Check your camera's manual for troubleshooting.  That's where they'd put information on resetting to factory default settings.  Or around the same place in the manual should be an address, phone number or web address to contact someone at Fuji for help.  Good luck!
