Highlite them and press DELETE key

right click and select DELETE key

Pressing SHIFT while deleting will bypass the recycle bin

You can use many different data erasing programs to write blanks over specified sectors on the hard drive. A little more advanced than the options Windows and OS-X give you but the control is far better.

go into dos and type delete *.*

Open Windows Explorer ( in accessories )  I created a shortcut for it on my desktop. Right-click on "Accessories"...Create shortcut, drag to desktop and find C drive:

Right click on item, select "Delete".
