Is there a way that I could attempt to get my poetry publish?

A few months back I wrote a poem, and didnt realise how "amazing" it was until I showed my English teacher, which was good as it boosted my grade loads.

For the sake of my English techer, I would like to somehow get it published just to show appriciation to her and my tutor who helped build my confidence and obviously taught me all i know, Thanks.

I would recommend to try and refine it first, if you haven't already. I can't give you publishing specifics for just one poem, though, NEVER give it to contests online such as poetry.com. They will try and milk you for all you're worth and whatever they publish, is their own property, meaning they can use it all they want. And if you publish elsewhere more appropriate, you will have a few problems trying to get rid of the former copyright.
