Is there a way that I could let people all over the country know that I am hiring people for my band?

I want to start a band as soon as possible (FYI it's Salsa we're gonna play). Is there a way that I could get people to audition for me??? Now the internet pretty much does anything but if there are any other suggestions please give them to me... thanks!

Announce it on myspace jobs.

The internet would be your best bet. Any other way wouldn't allow everyone to see it. Try making a webpage on it, advertising the fact that you're auditioning. But be careful as well: people on the internet are sometimes dangerous. So just audition with some of your friends around you near a public place. You know what I mean?

i would use craigslist and myspace, sure, but what about what youre using now? just ask if anyone in your area wants to audition for you on yahoo and you will probably get a lot of responses; on myspace and craigslist, it may be a bit more difficult because people would have to search specifically for you, but on yahoo, they can just enter 'band audition' into the search and theyll find you right away. good luck!
