Is there a way that my computer can watch what other computers go on, in my house?

Hey Folks,

Just wondering really, with the kids getting older, i was wondering if there was a way that my Computer, can monitor what goes on, on other computers in the house.

Mainly what is downloaded, or typed in search engines etc :)

can anyone help?

with a method of doing this if possible?

  1. wireless yes but they will prolly know ur monitoringg them

    also u should trust ur kids i hate it when my parents monitor me or try to block off certain websites, it makes me go look for different ones

  4. There are programs like www.netnanny.com that let you filter and/or monitor.

  5. u can buy a parental control software at Wal-Mart which lets u see everything they've been on but i dont know how expensive it is.  You can secretly monitor them or set up passwords which block programs you dont want them on.

  6. yes, it is possible. there are many programs that allow you to monitor a set of computers on a network. they act in a way like a keylogger. there are also other programs that allow you to actually c what they are doing "on the fly". sry i can't help you out with the names of the programs, but i know there are programs out there that will fulfill your needs.
