  1. anywho.com

  2. go to www.whitepages.com

they have free reverse look ups

  3. yes, here are all my favorite websites!!!

    # zabasearch

    # yellowbook

    # switchboard.com - Find telephone listings for people, businesses, products and get e-mail addresses, maps and city guides

    # Who Where - Powered by Lycos, find phone numbers and e-mail addresses for your family and friends

    # Any Who - Find a person or business

    # Google Voice Local Search - Google's new free 411 service

    # Tellme - Microsoft's 411 service geared for mobile users

    # Free 411 - Free directory assistance

    # White Pages - Look up telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, area codes and websites

  4. It all depends on the type of number. If it's a landline which has public listings then you can normally find it at such places as:

    http://google.com (type "phonebook: x*x-x*x-xxxx")

    http://whitepages.com

    http://411.com

That's IF the number is landline AND publicly listed. If the number is a cell number, 800 number or unlisted number then you'll *need* to pay for the information I am afraid.

To get information for the likes of cell phone numbers and unlisted numbers, you need to use a site such as http://reversecellphonesearcher.com which will give you comprehensive lookup information for around $15. I've used this site before and it's very good - it even gives you a 56 day guarantee to make sure you get the correct information!

The way I normally find reverse phone listings is to goto http://whitepages.com and type the number in the reverse lookup section. If it comes back as having results or has any information then it's likely to be listed.

If it's listed I then goto Google and type "phonebook: x*x-x*x-xxxx" where x is a digit of the number. If it doesn't give me the information I need there, then I resort to using http://reversecellphonesearcher.com

    Hope this helped?
