I don't want to have my dad buy me another laptop just to get an internal video card installed into the motherboard. The Dell Company, said that I have an integrated video card already inside of the motherboard, so there is no way to replace it. Is there a way that I can exchange my laptop to get the video card, and just transfer my current computer data over? I'm asking this, because the Dell Company, and the Sims2 Company, said that I need a video card, in order to play my Sims2 game on my PC. I'm mad because I have over $140 in Sims2 video games gone to waste now, just sitting on my floor, because of a stupid video card not being installed into the motherboard. You best believe that I'm going to get a video card somehow, because that's just a huge waste of money to not be able to even play my Sims2 video games!

  1. No, there is nothing you can do other then get a new laptop.  Generally, there are no expansion slots in a laptop, thus there is no place to put a graphics card.  However, there are higher end gaming laptops that can do this.

  2. If that is the case, I suggest backing up all of your important data onto an external hard drive or disc's that can hold all of your stuff. Then getting rid of that laptop like you said and exchanging it for one that does not have an integrated card. After that, you should be able to upgrade the video card and not have any problems.
