Is there a way that you can lose arm weight without losing weight anywhere else?

I'm small and I don't want to lose weight anywhere else, but I have large arms!! Is there anyway you can lose this weight!

  1. Hey if you figure it out, let me know! I have been working with weights on my arms with no satisfaction! They get muscles, but just stay flabby :-o


  2. Yes, you can have a brachioplasty (plastic surgery for arms).  

    Otherwise they have this new Hollywood thing called a body wrap where you wrap gauze soaked with salts around your body which sucks water out of the applied body parts so you can do that for your arms but it's only temporary.  

    You can try to isolate the biceps and triceps for definition using toning excercises, not bulking, but usually fat cannot be removed just from one area.   People do lose fat faster in some places than others so maybe you'll be lucky and your arms will lose fat before any other part of the body.

  3. well, if you have large arms,  you have large muscles, not only is ther fat there, but there's also muscle, all you can do really is do arm workouts, bicep curls, preacher curls, dumbell curls, and they'll tone up, that is, they'll lose a little fat but your not gonna lose a lot of fat there unless u go on a diet.

  4. i'm no expert, but if you're trying to lose weight, i would recommend excercising your arms regularly, particularly in the biceps and triceps.  doing maybe a set of 16 curls and 16 tricep excersises every day would help substantially.  also, if you need to get rid of extra flab, i would guess that using any lotion rich in vitamin E would work, seeing as how it's good for your skin.  Either that or anti-aging creams.  That's just a guess, though.  

  5. Wrestler arms already - how old are you? Cut the starch otherwise it is the plastic wrap for you. Leave it on overnight.

  7. Sadly, no, it's not possible to lose weight JUST on your arms, you'll lose weight all over; that's how your genes made you.

    Don't bother with doing weights; all that will do is increase the muscles in your arms, and if you do lose weight from it, it will be all over, NOT just on your arms.

  12. Sounds like you want to tone your arms. Lifting weights and doing certain stretches can make your arms leaner.

    Liposuction would be the only way to isolate actual weight loss.

    It will kill the fat and replace it with muscle

  14. Lift weights... you won't lose weight but you will tone up and it your arms will appear more slim
