When a friend accesses Yahoo groups with her computer she has the option of selecting another member id to access groups. When using my comptuer through ATT Yahoo service is there a way to select another member id? How can my friend temporarily access her Yahoo groups on my computer? We don't want to transfer control to my account, she just wants to change her group settings.

  1. while on a group site, at the top it says sign out. anyone can sign out and then click to the left groups, at the top sign into another user ID. it wouldn't matter whose compter they were on.

  2. First, make sure you are signed out of Yahoo.

Have her go to http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups and sign in using her personal Yahoo username and password to pull up a list of all of her groups. She can click on the group titles and go to the groups' home pages where she wants to make setting changes and then save the changes just as she normally would using her own computer.

Just make sure she signs out of Yahoo when she is finished!
