Is there a way to acheive a faster weight loss?

I've been trying to lose weight for about a month and a half .. I'm sticking to a really strict Diet, like 3 healthy meals a day and thats it, I dance for 2 and a half hours a week, I Walk atleast for an hour 5 nights a week.

I have only lost like 22 pounds this month, but at the moment its being massively tempremental, like losing heaps one day, then gaining it all + more back the next, its annoying the h**l out of me.

I really just want to lose it faster!

Please help, any advice will do!

  1. 22lbs in a month is not a healthy way to lose weight. There really is no way to speed up weight loss healthily you should aim to lose about 2lbs a week so that you do not cause any major health problems. Patience is required.

  3. I've heard that if you loose too much weight in a short space of time, you will begin to lose muscle rather than fat. I've heard that about 1 - 1 & 1/2 kilograms (sorry, i'm not sure what that is in pounds) a week is healthy.

    The other thing is that you shouldn't weigh yourself too frequently. Certainly not everyday because your body is tempremental. What you should do is weigh youself the same time and the same day every week. It should be in the morning (before you eat anything) and without clothes.

    If it is too tempting to weigh yourself every day, put the scales in the cupboard or somewhere where it will take effort to get them out!
