I want to customize one of my groups pages. But I wonder if there's a template or if there's a way to set it up, and where do I do this from?

There are templates available to change your group's color scheme.  You can customize the color scheme and add a photo to your home page easily.  

To add a photo to home page:

Sign in to your group.

Click on Edit to the right of "Description".

Scroll down to the Colors and Photo area.

Click  Add Photo.  Locate a photo that you have stored on your computer and double click it. This will place the picture on your home page.

To customize the color scheme of your group:

Sign in to your group.

Click on Edit to the right of "Description".

Scroll down to the Colors and Photo area.

Right underneath the words "Colors and Photo", click Edit to the right of the existing color.

Select the color scheme you want, then click Save Changes.

If you know html, you can change the font's size and color.  Explaining that would be too lengthy to put in this answer.

you can add a HTML code for a pic within the description area, down side is that area allows 2000 characters and HTML codes can be large.

on the home page, top left in the description says and has links: Description  (Edit, Add Photo) click on photo, takes you right to uplaoding and it needs to be a Jpeg file
