Is there a way to add a signature line to your comments in GROUPS? Not mail..?

sure, just paste it in...  one thing, you have to remember it's not a message board, it a email archive.  So you either email from the group or from your email address.

If you're sending a message to Yahoo Groups from your e-mail account, just add the signature line in the way your e-mail program provides.  But if you're sending a message from the Group web site, the only way is to copy & paste the signature line each time you send a message in this way.
