Is there a way to back up my contacts on my sprint phone?

Recently the screen on my sprint phone cracked. Is there a way for me to keep all of my contacts if getting a replacement phone?

if it is a contract phone (not a pay as you go) it should have a sim card. save it to that. you should be able to go to contacts and it will say something like "copy contacts" or "transfer contacts"
