  1. you will need to get your style correct. get someone who shoots well to keep an eye on you.

otherwise, keep practising and dont give up! theres no shortcut around this!

  2. if that was true than nobody would work their a$$es off it's insulting to all basketball players for you to even say that.

  3. no.

  4. practice your shot and see what goes in and what doesnt..... your shot has to always be the same if you want to be consistent

it mite be your follow through, the fingers, legs, etc..a lot of details for a perfect shot

  5. The only way you can improve your shot is through practicing. dont start mid-range or anything just start close to the hoop until you start getting into a rhythm and then starting shooting from mid range. just work on your accuracy

  6. There is actually but it's a complex method. It's what Reggie Miller used to do, there's a long lead up to it, but I'll just cut to the meat and potatoes of it. So basically, what you'll need is a basketball net and a basketball. It doesn't matter what the condition is, anything will work. Now, preferably you need a partner there as well. You're going to want to make sure that he's male, because, y'know, you want to be concentrating on this drill I'm about to outline. Now Reggie called this the most important part, and he constantly refers to it; preparation. It comes from shooter down to shooter, from Reggie to Ray Allen, preparation. Here's an article on that

So what you'll want to do is develop your own preparation. Like, I dunno, take an ice bath before preforming this drill or shave your legs, whatever floats your boat.

Anyways, you got your ball, the net, your partner, and you've just finished shaving your legs. You're set. But you gotta make sure you're wearing the right gear first. Personally, I prefer Adidas, but y'know, Reggie and Ray are Nike, so I dunno...Or you can choose any comfortable clothing, I'm just messing with you. Now to get to serious stuff.

To serious stretching. Because you definitely don't want to pull anything. If there's one thing that you don't want, it's an injury, like a pulled hammy or something of that nature. Because what that'll do is prevent you from performing this excellent drill, passed down from generation of shooter to generation of shooter, the best drill bar none, and the best I've ever experience in my life. This is the drill that saved Kyle Korver's career. This is the drill that Larry Bird did to perfection. This is the drill that Shaq should have done years ago.

Okay I'll stop building it up, here's what the drill is. After your preparation, the leg shaving, the uniform decision, the mental stuff, the reminiscing of past and previous legends who have utilized this drill to get to the next level, you're finally ready.

So what you do is...you shoot the ball. And then the rebounder picks it up. And then he passes it back to you. And then you shoot again, for so on, until you get good.

  7. If there is... than I wasted years of my life. Oh wait there isn't, I'm glad I practice so much. Perfect practice makes perfect. If you practice a crappy shot over and over again... Guess what you're gonna have? A crappy shot!

  8. Yes you could practice you aim like playing darts so your shots could be more accurate.
