Well you could always do horribly bad in them. But seriously, if you don't want to be in the limelight, try something like broadway and musicals.

when ever you are seen on television, the public immediatley picks you out and you will have some type of fame.

being famous can be stressful at times but it comes with the responisibility of stress also-fame.

You can be an extra in movies and definitely not be famous. But as far as "good roles" in the movie business, they're pretty much spoken for. Very few producers will hire non-famous actors for their movies because famous actors bring in money, where as regular people don't. I would try the theatre because you can get lead roles in community or even off-Broadway theatre and not be famous.

look for independent films to star in and if you get offered a blockbuster then say no if you dont want to.

No such thing as getting good roles in Hollywood without becoming famous. A-list actors are going after the good roles all the time. Dont want to be famous, but want to act? Try the theater.

Yes, of course! But the parts are going to be really small supporting roles and your best bet is to probably to stay out of TV/film. Being in soap is not too bad. Don't expect to be a leading actor though. When you get in the business of acting being famous should not be on your mind. At the same time it is something you won't be able to control. If we/us the viewers love you then you'll know the reaction and even if you take small roles we still could like you. I'm the same way and I wouldn't mind getting a job on a soap. Doesn't get you too famous, provides work and pays you.!

Whether you become famous or not depends on the success of the movie. You could be an extra in famous movies and not get famous, but you said "good roles" so I guess thats not what you're looking for. Maybe just look for the crappiest script you've ever seen and audition in the hopes that no one will watch it?

Yes, become a stage actress.  There are just as many good stage roles as film roles.

Movies and TV play to audiences of millions.  Live theatre plays to 50-5000 seat houses.  

I love being an actress, wouldn't want to be famous.

I got that life, I'm truly blessed.
