Is there a way to believe without experience?

i want to believe that i can be anyone i want to but i cant. i always have doubts. i want to believe the following quote "anything is possible, if u believe." my parents tell me its not true, but i want to believe in it. please tell me how.

If you believe in the discouraging words from your parents...you will never get anywhere. Im a firm believer that if you want it bad enough...YOU WILL MAKE IT HAPPEN. end of story.

Unlike you, I live my life on the basis of belief.

The only thing stopping me from not living is belief.

I guess when you feel your life is a total wreck and you feel like you have nothing to live for, you'll believe that things will get better.

They might never I guess, but its a human instinct.

Without belief , there is no life.

That quote is such c**p. We're bound by both natural and social laws. We're limited in the things we can do.
