Is there a way to block your number on text messages?

Is there a way to make texts look restricted kinda like when you press *69 when you call someone?

On my phone I go to Inbox then settings then callback number and I turn it on and you can change the number. I tried changing the number once and it showed a different number but if your already in their contacts you will show up with that.

yes but u cant do it with a phone there are websites that u cant send text to cellphones but not receive reply. just google search it

If you go on the service providers web site you can sent a text that will not show your number.  Well you have the option to not show your number.
