Is there a way to carry a swag on your back?

I'm shooting through in a couple of day to southern australia to do some some fruit picking, I want to be doing it till the start of next year. I have to do ALOT of walking because I don't have a car and i'm just wondering the best way to carry my gear. swag and backback, is there a way to carry a swag on your back?
