Is there a way to change a bmp picture file to a jpg file?

Click on the photo to make it large.  Then click file scroll down and click  save as. You should see a little bar along the bottom of that window  which if you click at the right end should be changeable to jpeg.  I hope that's understandable.

Here is the easy way. Right click on the photo click "save picture as" check the box at the bottom is jpg and "save" and the file is automatically saved as jpg.
