Is there a way to change font for outgoing messages from a yahoo group address?

We have some members with visual impairments adn they are having trouble reading Times Roman font used for list messages. I woudld like to change list mail to Verdana which is easier to read...

I have not found a way to make a certain font default- it used to be it would show up which ever the person posted when reading off the group.
