Is there a way to change your xbox live gamertag without paying microsoft points?

Question

The only way ive heard of is to get alot of complaints on your gamertag and xbox live will make you change it for free. If this is true can somebody tell me how many complaints i need. Thanks in advance.

free 3 month live card or points card for filling out offers, works if you have nothing better to do while on the pc.  Fill out 20x 1pt offers and bam:

dont think so, cause i tried and tried and i even asked my friends and they said when they changed theirs they had to pay points

no its not possible, just make a new new one or get some microsoft points, you can get them free sometimes from sites.

The only way complaints will cause it to change is if it is offensive. If its not you're **** out of luck.

you cant change it by people filing complaints

too many people did that so they stopped it

Have everyone on your friends list ignore you for an offensive gamertag (even though it isn't offensive at all). This alerts microsoft and they require you to change it. Since they make you change it. it is free. Once it is changed message all your friends and tell them that this is your new GT and to give good rep again. (To sum it up your friends list should be enough people, so 50-75 complaints.)
