Is there a way to clear off Cd's that were blank when you bought them?

i bought blank cds to transfer my music on my itunes from my old computer to a new computer and something went wrong with th cd, is there a way to clear the music off that cd and use it again?

  1. they have to be rewritable cds if they arent then no you cant..  


  2. Look on the CD and check what kind of CD it is. If its a CD-RW or CD-R.

    If the CD is rewritable, then yes you can add new songs.

    If the CD is recordable, then no; you can only record the songs on the CD once. If it doesn't work then you are not able to record anything else on it.

  3. You can clear them off in the sense you make them inaccessible but you cannot use that space. that space in your disc would be gone forever.

    To delete you need to make use of any burning software and follow  the steps you do for adding more files on the disc, but when you go to the screen where there files listed select the file and click on delete.
