Is there a way to close your yahoo360 profile without closing your yahoo email account?

Yes.

But you can not delete it but you can hide it

On your 360 set everything to 'private' or 'just me'

Type in fake ID and fake information

Remove your friends or send a good by message

Uncheck your URL box

Uncheck your communication boxes - you do not want to recieve no messages from there

After you set your Blogs and everything to 'private' or  'just me' Click on save and leave your page. It will be removed in time and when the new network comes anyways

But hide it to be sure no one can see your information that was hard to remove , that is why you need to set to 'private or just me'.
