Is there a way to control the seasons?

I always hated the summer. I grew up in NYC, and now I live in Maryland, which isn't that much different (more humidity and less harsh winters). I always wanted to figure out a way to make summer end right after the 4th of July. Has anyone ever heard of someone being able to do this?

Get a motor home or camper. Become a gypsy and follow the season that suits you best.

Yes, the seasons are controlled by the tilt of the Earth as it orbits the Sun.  If you can control either of these factors, then be my guest.  Otherwise, you take what you can get.

Travel to South America where it is winter.
