  1. Yes, it's called lucid dreaming. Start by keeping a notebook by your bed and writing down the first think you remember each morning. Keep doing this and eventually you'll begin to have a conscious awareness of when you're actually dreaming. When this happens, just observe the dream, don't try to change anything, but note the feel and sensations of whats going on around you in the dream. After a few "awareness" dreams, try to change something minor in your dreams and go from there.  It will probably take a few months at the least, but keep working at it. It's pretty easy when you learn how.
