My friend gave me her old t-mobile phone which I love but I currently have a phone and service through sprint.

  1. No.  T-Mobile's phones and network are GSM, which require sim cards in order to work.  Sprint's phones and network are CDMA, which doesn't use sim cards.  They are two completely different technologies and are not compatible with each other.
