Is there a way to copy movies from my TIVO to my computer?

I want to burn some tv shows n movies for my sister instead of taping them to a VCR tape. Is there a way to do this?

  1. You have to download the TiVo desktop software...

    This is free software. You can buy the full version called TiVo Desktop Plus witch will convert the files to MPEG4 so you can load them on MP4 players.
