  1. They can be fit with hard contact lenses, which can prevent the furthering of it somewhat. But, in the long run most people need corneal transplants. It is not something that you can take a pill for, that is for sure!


  2. As you probably know Kerataconus is due to the shape of the cornea( the front surface of the eye)

    being misshaped. so that a distorted image is offered to the retina. The usual way to deal with this is to fit a contact lens which helps to overcome  the natural distortion you have. In many cases this is quite satisfactory.

  3. many ways , all of them are not satisfying [ hard contact lenses , intra corneal implants , cross linking , circular keratotomy ] the only cure is keratoplasty .
