You can set t in internet options to deleye history after whatever number of days you wish, all the way down to one.

Yes. Goto Tools and then Internet Options at the bottom. In there you can choose how often to automatically delete history.

If you're using Fire Fox, then yes. Go to Tools, Options, then check the boxes to Always clear private data when I close Fire Fox.
