Hello, my dad and I share the same server and I was wondering If there is any way to delete the browsing history from it? I want to be able to visit websites like Myspace without him monitoring me! lol

Thanks! =)

  1. What Jim said is true, so you can't stop him from seeing where you go but you can disguise it by going through a proxy server first. It is just a website that goes to a website of your choice and displays it for you, but all that your browser (and anyone watching your history) sees is the website of the proxy. If you search proxy you'll get thousands of results just pick one and go.

  2. To delete browsing history from your local client:

    Tools - clear private data

To delete data from the server:

Logon to the server are clear the log and cache files.

  3. You cannot override his authority if you are a user account and he is administrator.  Even if you wipe out your history in your account, the server sofware will provide him with logs of your internet activity.  Whenver you log into a URL on the net, the server writes a log of your activity and this is not stored in your user account.  You may install software that deletes out your browser user history, but he will still have the logs of where you have been and will still know what you have been up to.
