When I'm at work, I always do my best to maintain a professional and positive attitude in front of others. There is a new woman at my job. There was a slight misunderstanding between us a few days ago over something trivial. She made an assumption about my mood and I responded that she doesn't know me that well. I don't have to work closely with her or anything but every time I pass her now, she laughs this fake laugh and does this whole routine of exaggerated pats my shoulder. It makes me mad and I want to scream "WTF? Don't f****** touch me" but I'm at work and can't act like I would in the street. So far I tried to ignore her but I need to be more assertive so that this stops. How can I say "don't touch me" in a way that won't label me as being agressive or mean? Some people at work already think I'm unfriendly.
