I am trying to enlarge a photo. My Original is about a walet size and I am trying to enlarge it on my computer. But everytime I try to do it, it keeps coming up really grainy and pixalized. Is there a way to do this is this wont happen? I have downloaded gimp, but I just cant figure out how to do what I need. I just need it to look good, so I can take it to Kinkos and make copies.

  1. You can enlarge an image, but from that size it will be grainy and pixalized.

You can try using a few tricks in GIMP like the blur filter, to remove some of that graininess but it probably wont do any good.

By the way, if you are having trouble enlarging it in GIMP then you go to Image and choose Scale Image.

  2. Try this picture resize tool

    It works very well!
