In the Burlington area of Vermont, there is an intersection where both roads have a red light at the same time and then, you guessed it, they both have a green light at the same time. I have tried to get it fixed but the state officials just do not seem to care. They did put up a sign advising drivers to "use care." How can I find out how many accidents have occurred at this intersection?

  1. Try your local department of transportation or call your local police department.

  2. Go to the Police Station in Burlington. They should have an accounting of the accidents at that intersection. Does one of the streets happen to be a State Highway? If so, go to the State Police also. You can write letters to the Editor, call the Gov, (write him a letter and tell him your story). Somebody will get the point, it just may take a while. Good Luck. If it's not a State Highway the State cant help u tho.
