Is there a way to find out what my gross and net income was for 2007?

i need the info for my college grant application. I moved and cant find my tax papers.

  1. You are going to need your tax documents anyway so talk to whoever prepared your taxes and get a copy


  2. There are two ways that I can think of if you don't have the income information.

    1.  Contact your employer and ask for a copy of your form W2, or look at a paycheck stub near the end of the year that has year to date totals.

    2. You can contact the IRS at (800) 829-1040 or go into an IRS office and ask for a copy of your transcript for 2007.  A IRS transcript is what the IRS calls your account information.

  3. You definitely need at least your W2 for 2007. If you can't find your tax papers, go to turbo tax website and "prepare" your tax return one more time. You do not need to file it or print it or pay for it, as long as you don't file it or print it.
