Is there a way to find what size of saddlebags will best fit a bike?

Also, are the saddlebag supports really needed or can you just let them hang? I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 and have not been able to find the bag supports to fit my bike.

  1. There are so many types, you need to have an idea of what type and shape you want. Yes the braces are essential, without them, your bags hang and look terrible. Any bags you get that are for your model number have the brackets that go with them or can be purchased separately.

    Also try ebay, they have some great deals and the sellers are usually very informed about what will fit what.

  3. U B in for one h**l of a ride if those bags get in the rear wheel! ALWAYS use supports and lash the bags to them to be safe.

  4. kawasaki sells the bag support brackets.  i 've gotten the saddleman slanted bags on mine.  must of the sites and/or manufactures will have a sizing chart for the bikes/bags.
