Is there a way to fix an LCD display unit in my car?

the front is not broken just some of the letters are not forming properly. Is there a fix that you know works or will I have to pay for a new one?

What make is the unit?  If for the sake Clarion, you can replace the LCD  It takes a bit of Patience but can be done.

a new one probably - get some quotes from a few garages

I think the cost or repair IF it could been done which I doubt would make it uneconomical splash out for a new one.
