Question:

Is there a way to fix my broken cell phone?

Hey ya'll. I got a Motorola Razor. I guess it's the older Razor, I'm not sure which model it is exactly. Anyway. I think I got some soda on it, and now none of the buttons work. I can't dial or do anything but use the hangup button. It's the only one that still works. I can only accept incoming calls because I don't have to press anything to accept the calls, I just have to open my phone up. So it's not totally broken all the way. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I'm afraid to take the battery out, because then the phone will turn off and I don't know if the button to turn it back on will work. Any ideas?

  1. Well, since the hang up button, will work to turn the phone back on as well, I doubt taking the battery out, will keep you from using the phone, in it's current state.

The only thing you could do is, take the cover plate off your phone and clean off the number pad chip board, then let it sit and dry for several days, before putting the phone back together.

It still might not work after that, but that's your best hope.  You need to remove all the sugary residue, left by the soda.

  2. if its minor then try to fix it but if it's major than just save up and get a new one!
