Is there a way to fix my eye?

i am legally blind in my right eye. i have been to several eye doctors and have been told that i am nearsighted from one and that i have a lazy eye from the other. i have had it since i was a baby but nobody realized it until i was 6. so they think that it can't be corrected. but they still make me wear contacts.

is there any way to fix my eye and prove the doctors wrong because if something happens and my left eye gets damaged, I'M SCREWED!

help?

  1. Ya, we have some miracle Dr's who come into Yahoo Answers, and they can examine your eyes right through the monitor of your computer, and tell you where your Dr's are wrong.

So, just stay sitting there all day with your forehead against the monitor, in case one comes in.

    Get serious, man

  2. To be honest there is so much confusion and quackery out there that Doctors are the safest bet for most people. There are a few people that are doing amazing work that is leaps and bounds ahead of doctors, but they are very hard to find. One has to do their homework to the max to weed out all of the charlatans and quacks and multilevels.

There are a few Natural Eyesight Improvement teachers that are trained in the work of Margaret Corbett and have experience in working with people who have amblyopia. She trained under William H. Bates, an ophthalmologist who discovered that we interfere with our eyesight. She found that people with amblyopia have a heavy health issue in their head as a child that blocks the use of one eye for a while. These people are unable to learn how to see with that one eye during the normal developmental period so it is much more blurry and turned off. She found that most people overcome that original blockage. She showed them how to activate the eye and learn what it was like to have normal fusion. Often it is easier for an amblyope to regain fusion than it is for a nearsight to relearn to see.

Vision therapy rarely works because it teaches effort in trying to see but it does not show us how to use our eyes, mind, and body together correctly in a relaxed way. Surgeries don't show us how to use our vision system correctly either so they are mostly cosmetic and often temporary.

  3. I've had a lazy eye since I was born, they knew it right away, but were never able to correct it. I've had two surgries and even eye theorpy, nothing worked. I'm in my 20's now and I hate having the lazy eye. So I can relate.

  4. If doctors who have personally examined you have told you that the lazy eye is not treatable, then it is very unlikely that there is any treatment.

Protect your good eye by wearing safety glasses when playing sports, wood working, doing yard work etc.
