Is there a way to format a video camera disk on the computer? ?

The Sony DCR-HC62 MiniDV Handycam® Camcorder won't let me format the disk.

The disk says Memorex duraplayer technology and the other side says DVD+RW and its rewritable 4x

1.4 GB and has 30 mins. PLease HELP

  1. Sorry, but I'm confused - as you said, the DCR-HC62 is MiniDV - it doesn't use DVDs.
