  1. When working with superglue, and you put on too much, don’t wipe it off! You’ll just be spreading it to a larger surface. Dab it with an old but clean terry cloth. Don’t use tissue either. You’d just make the problem with tissue fabric clinging on dried super glue.

Use Acetone. or acetone based nail polish remover. It will 'cut' superglue. Dab it on, wait for the super glue to soften, then dab it off quickly before it dries up again. For fabrics, you can use acetone then try to brush it off with an old toothbrush.

Don’t use this on sensitive fabrics, and before using it on plastic, try in an inconspicuous area. The acetone might damage the plastic. Also don't try it on varnish and other finishes without trying it in a hidden area first.

Sometimes soap and warm water will help. Let it soak for a bit, when the glue softens up a bit then wipe it off. The soap will prevent it from clinging and drying on again.

For your phone, put the tiniest drop on a toothpick and touch it somewhere hidden and make sure it wipes off nicely and doesn't smear / melt the plastic. Maybe open it up and put some inside.

    Good luck.

  2. super glue will melt in hot water after a few minutes
