  1. You can always try the off-the-site web sites. Just type in "NASCAR tickets" and they'll come up. They buy blocks of tickets in the hopes they can sell them. Stubhub.com has been good for me. They buy tickets people don't want an resell them. AND I have a friend who got tickets for Bristol on the Tuesday before, the p**p. They are out there, just a little creative research.

    Good luck!

  2. You can but it really depends on the track. Bristol would be a definite no, Atlanta with the current schedule would be a yes. Now next year with it's second date on Labor Day I would say no to that. It's better to do alot of research especially if you are new to the sport or "new" to a particular track. I have been going to the same tracks since 1983 so I know what I am up against. I have been going to Bristol and Martinsville with no trouble to get "last minute" tix at M'ville, next year I'm going to try to go to Atlanta during Labor Day....so I am doing my research now that way there won't be any unpleasant surprises.

  3. I have found tickets cheap on craigslist. Just go to the  listing in city that the race is at.

  4. I NEVER buy tickets in advance.  You can always find dozens of individuals selling tickets the morning of the race and its true of every track.  I have never once paid more than face value.  I have occasionally paid half of face.  And I always get a great seat, one that I probably couldnt have gotten through the track's ticket office.

  5. There's always tickets for same by individuals at the track.  THere's also a web site I've heard of called stubhub.com  It's for tickets that others are trying to sell for whatever reason.  I've never tried it but you may want to check it out.
