Is there a way to get my favorite comics and load them to MY YAHOO so they are right there first thing?

It seems like neither of those sites has an RSS feed, so here's something you can try.  Either do it on your My Yahoo! page or add a new page just for 'Comics':

- From your My Yahoo! page, click on 'add content'

- From 'add content' page, do a find on comics, add the ones your want, click 'finished' when done

- If you add 'yahoo comics' you can edit the selection from your page to include up to 3 comics, hopefully three you can't get individually.

Sorry, that's the only way I can see to do it.  You could also email the Comics.com and Comicssherpa.com sites and suggest they add an RSS feed, so you could add their sites directly.  Hope this helps!
