  1. go early in the morning when the whole like "popular good crew" isn't there.

just take em really slowly and focus on your balance.

maybe wear a helmet till you get used to em?

    good luck

  2. first, tell her there is no reason to be embarassed because other snowboarders were in the same position she is in.

second, if she is not over that, take her when there is not many people there.

get off of your board and help her when she is on the box or rail, i suggest box first.  she has to get used to her balance and centering her body weight over the box.  people also have a tendency to try to turn on the box if they are afraid they are going to fast, if she leans on edge even a little, she will fall.  people usually cant help doing that.

just start off slow and go at your own pace.  i personally think its easier going faster.

  3. Are you also afraid of them?  If you both are afraid, do like rock-paper scissors or something to decide who goes first.  Wear a helmet.

Hit a wide, flat box first.  50-50 it first slowly.  The chances that you'll fall flat on your face are slim.  Stay flat and keep your shoulders facing perpendicular to the box, and keep looking at the end of the box.  Once you get to the end, you don't even need to pop off.  Just drop.  Keep your knees bent and don't freak out.  Don't go into a boardslide if you can't 50-50 yet.  Don't bother with a kinked box either.

Boxes and rails are so much fun.  Boxes are fun just to goof off on because it's harder to mess up, and easier just to fool around on.  Rails are good if you want a challenge.

Hit it slow and calm.  Keep yourself straight on it.  Watch other people and ask them.  Most people won't mind helping you.  The fact that you're girls will give you +'s too.  Not that many girl boarders.

  4. I'm the same way, but I prefer to ripp an embankment.  I have experienced a variety of shakedowns, and, I believe that a healthy amount of fear is the way to find yourself.
