The cable outlet (plug-in) on our tv isn't working and we want to hook up rabbit ears to receive an analog connection (through 2/09). Is there a work-around or equipment we can buy to by-pass this problem? Thanks!

  1. I assume that what you mean is that the coax antenna connector broke off or that the TV's tuner stopped working.

If the TV has A/V inputs, then just find an old VCR with tuner and connect it the the TVs composite inputs. Use the VCR's tuner to change channels. You can also hook up a coupon type converter box to the composite inputs to receive over the air digital broadcasts.
